Chamfering grain problem from high-ray CNC machine
The knife grain on the chamfer made by the high-ray CNC machine is mainly caused by:
I. High precession requirements of the high-ray CNC machine;
II. Good rigidity of the high-ray CNC machine;
III. Engagement of the cutting edge and feed speed;
IV. Part structure and fixture;
V. The cutting heat is too high and the cutting speed is too low;
VI. Tool and cooling
Tool factors: tool material (the diamond tool is commonly used), tool angle design and knife handle dynamic balance.
Cooling factors: coolant and the existence of high-pressure cooling.
